About Thames Skin Clinic
Thames Skin Clinic is an award-winning, doctor-led, CQC-registered medical aesthetics clinic based in Twickenham.
Founded by Dr Anna Hemming, the clinic specialises in medically led skin health restoration and natural aesthetic outcomes. Our core areas of focus include acne, rosacea, pigmentation, photodamage and skin health restoration.
We combine detailed consultation, clinical assessment, evidence-based skincare, laser and energy-based treatments, injectables, regenerative treatments and personalised treatment planning to support patients through their skin health journey.
We are looking for an experienced, organised and proactive Practice Manager / Clinic Manager to oversee the daily running of the clinic, support the team, protect clinical and operational standards, and help the business continue to grow.
About the Role
This is a senior operational role suited to someone with experience in aesthetics, private healthcare, clinic management, CQC-regulated environments or premium patient-facing services.
You will work closely with Dr Anna Hemming and the wider team to ensure excellent patient care, strong operational systems, effective team management and high standards across every part of the clinic.
The role includes front of house management, team training, recruitment, HR processes, CQC compliance support, patient experience, complaints handling, marketing liaison, stock control, clinic management software, currently Pabau and supplier relationships.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and we may close the advert early if the right candidate is found.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day running of the clinic and ensure smooth, professional clinic operations.
Manage, support and develop the front of house team.
Ensure patient enquiries, bookings, follow-ups and communication are handled professionally and efficiently.
Support recruitment, onboarding, team training, 1:1 meetings, appraisals and probation reviews.
Support CQC compliance, clinic governance, audits, checks, documentation and inspection readiness.
Manage patient feedback, compliments and complaints in line with clinic policy.
Liaise with the clinic’s marketing agency and support campaigns, website updates, blogs, treatment launches, events and webinars.
Oversee stock control, ordering, deliveries, expiry dates and supplier liaison.
Support the effective use of clinic systems including Pabau.
Act as a key point of contact for industry representatives, suppliers and training providers.
Support business growth through strong systems, diary optimisation, patient follow-up, team performance and clinic development projects.
Experience and Requirements
Previous experience in clinic management, practice management, healthcare management, aesthetics, private medical practice or a similar patient-facing management role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Experience managing front of house, reception or patient coordination teams.
Excellent organisation, attention to detail and communication skills.
Confident handling patient enquiries, complaints and difficult conversations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy clinical environment.
Professional, discreet and calm under pressure.
Good IT skills and confidence using clinic or booking systems.
Understanding of confidentiality, patient care and professional standards.
Experience in a CQC-regulated environment, medical aesthetics, dermatology, private healthcare, Pabau, marketing liaison or stock management would be advantageous.

Holiday Entitlement
22 days annual leave plus bank/public holidays.
After completing one full year of service, employees receive one additional paid day off to celebrate their birthday, to be taken on or close to their birthday by agreement.
After each further completed year of service, annual leave increases by one additional day per year, up to a maximum of 25 days annual leave plus bank/public holidays.

You will be highly organised, proactive, calm under pressure and confident leading a team. You will enjoy improving systems, supporting people and helping a premium medical aesthetics clinic deliver exceptional patient care.
You do not need to be a clinician, but you must be able to work confidently in a medical aesthetic clinic environment and understand the importance of compliance, confidentiality and patient trust.
Pay: £42,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
