Drugs2U Pharmacy is Leominster’s first online distance selling pharmacy, providing a new way to get your NHS prescriptions delivered to where you need them free of charge.

We are looking for a reliable and dedicated Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy, you will be responsible for delivering medications and healthcare products to our patients’ homes in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. This role is vital to ensuring our patients receive their medications and maintain their health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and securely deliver prescriptions and other pharmacy products to patients’ homes.
• Ensure the correct medication is delivered according to the prescription and pharmacy guidelines.
• Provide friendly and professional service to patients, answering basic queries as instructed by the pharmacist.
• Collect signatures or other forms of proof of delivery, maintaining accurate records of deliveries.
• Manage delivery schedules and optimize routes for timely and efficient deliveries.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle in good working order, including basic maintenance and cleanliness.
• Handle payments for prescriptions where required.
• Assist with the general housekeeping tasks at the pharmacy when required.
• Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines related to the transport and delivery of medications.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information during deliveries.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A full, clean UK driving license.
• Previous experience in a delivery role is preferred.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle medications responsibly and with care.
• Basic knowledge of local areas and the ability to navigate efficiently.
• A friendly and professional demeanour.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Successful candidate to provide the following:

• Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
• Copy of Driving License
• Copy of Passport
• Proof of Address

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.71 per hour
