Duties

• Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including personal and company cars, ensuring adherence to road safety regulations
• Provide punctual transportation for clients or staff as required, including errands, appointments, and other engagements
• Assist with loading and unloading items, including heavy lifting when necessary
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks, such as tyre pressure, oil levels, and general cleanliness
• Maintain accurate records of trips and vehicle usage
• Communicate effectively with clients or team members regarding schedules or changes in plans
• Ensure the vehicle is kept in excellent condition, reporting any repairs or servicing needs promptly

Requirements

• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a driver, preferably with delivery driver experience or commercial driving background
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when required, ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures to ensure safety and reliability of the vehicle
• Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, including variable hours and days
• Good organisational skills to manage schedules efficiently
