Personal Assistant (PA) Mental Health Support SM job at Earlsfield Full Time

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and emotionally intelligent Personal Assistant to support a woman with long-term mental health needs through a Direct Payments package.
This role is about far more than task-based care. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of consistency, dignity, emotional safety and helping someone genuinely enjoy life again.

Hours

The hours the family are looking to fill are weekend hours, and nights. There is a set sleeping night rate.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate:

* is patient, warm and emotionally grounded
* has experience in mental health, support work or care
* understands person-centred practice
* can remain calm during heightened emotions or distress
* is reliable and consistent
* has good communication skills
* holds a full UK driving licence (preferred)
* has an Enhanced DBS or is willing to obtain one

* Supporting wellbeing and independence
* Meal preparation and support with healthy eating
* Medication prompting
* Supporting someone during periods of anxiety or distress

Pay: £15.30 per hour
