Passenger Services Assistant – Part-time (20hr/week)
Location: Portsmouth International Port
Salary: £15,135.12
Start Date: 9 June 2026 (4-day induction training)

The schedule
Part-Time Passenger Services Assistants work an average of 20 hours per week in shifts, to cover either early morning or late-night opening hours, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- welcoming and checking-in passengers
- handling bookings, answering queries, and dealing with complaints, both in person and over the phone
- supporting smooth port operations, including boarding
- working closely with colleagues to deliver a safe, timely, and exceptional service
What we’re looking for
- Professional, confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Calm, practical problem-solver who can work under pressure
- Strong team player with a positive, proactive approach
- Previous experience in a retail, hospitality, or customer service role beneficial
- French or Spanish language skills are a bonus (but not essential)
