We are looking for motivated and reliable Parts/Transport Operative to join our growing team at GC Windows Ltd. The job will include accurately picking and issue parts for jobs arranged for our site service engineers and assist with the safe loading of our delivery vans.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm

Flexibility may be required depending on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

· Work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, reporting any risks or hazards

· Pick parts accurately from stock locations

· Issue parts to jobs ensuring correct quantities and part numbers are correct

· Assist with loading vans for deliveries, ensuring items are secured, protected and loaded in drop ordered

· Maintain good housekeeping in the stores and factory arears

· Support colleagues across stores, factories and transport as required to meet service levels

· Pick and sign off all goods ready for loading for delivery

· Support the transport manager with collecting and delivering company vehicles

· Deliver stock to sites when required

Skills & Experience

· Previous experience in UPVC industry is desirable but not essential

· Good communication skills

· Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Strong work ethic with attention to detail

· Driving licence essential

· Forklift licences desirable but not essential
