About Us

This role spans two closely connected businesses: Octopus Global Ltd and Rogue (Trinitas Gaming Ltd).

Octopus Global is a games aggregator and distribution platform, while Rogue is a game development studio focused on creating innovative online slot content. Rogue distributes its games via Octopus Global across the UK regulated market and a range of international pre-regulated markets.

At Rogue, we’re redefining what’s possible in iGaming. As an independent studio, we combine creativity, design, and technology to develop unique, high-quality games. We’ve built a reputation for originality and innovation — and we’re just getting started.

Octopus Global provides distribution opportunities to multiple game studios and has recently secured its UK Gambling Licence. The business is now progressing towards obtaining a Malta licence, with longer-term ambitions focused on expansion into the regulated US market.

This role offers the opportunity to work across both businesses, supporting and optimising financial operations while gaining broad exposure to a fast-growing iGaming environment.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and reliable finance professional to support our business on a part-time, contract basis.

This is a flexible, fully remote role, ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while playing a key role in maintaining accurate, efficient, and compliant financial operations.

You will take ownership of day-to-day finance activities including invoicing, payroll support, and general accounting, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and issue sales invoices, tracking incoming payments
• Oversee accounts payable, including supplier payments and reconciliations
• Support payroll processing (liaising with external payroll providers)
• Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with management accounts and financial reporting
• Support VAT returns and general compliance requirements
• Work closely with external accountants (year-end accounts, filings, etc.)
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and efficiency

Requirements

• Proven experience in a finance or accounting role (SME/startup experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping, invoicing, and payroll processes
• Experience using accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks or similar)
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with a distributed team
• Relevant qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred but not essential
• Fluent in English
