Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Part Time Care Workers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
• Support with meal preparation and feeding as required
• Administer medication following prescribed guidelines and document accordingly
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
• Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals with dementia or other health conditions
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Support clients with mobility and transfer using appropriate techniques and equipment
• Follow care plans diligently and report any changes in health or behaviour to supervising staff
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with team members
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Experience

• Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments is preferred
• Knowledge of patient care practices including Alzheimer’s, dementia, hospice, and behavioural management techniques
• Experience in medication administration and basic first aid is advantageous
• Familiarity with caregiving for seniors or children is beneficial
• Valid driving licence is desirable for clients requiring transportation assistance
• Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when assisting clients with mobility needs
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professional boundaries
