We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results in both residential and commercial settings. Duties

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Apply paint, varnishes, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Ensure all work is completed to client specifications and within designated timeframes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organising tools and disposing of waste responsibly.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and any issues encountered.
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during painting activities.
• Assist in colour matching and selecting appropriate paints or finishes as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction painting or related trades is preferred.
• Valid driving licence is essential for transporting equipment and materials between sites.
• Good command of English language with strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.
• Physical fitness to handle manual tasks, including lifting and working at heights if necessary.
