We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead and oversee daily operations within our childcare facility. Duties

• Lead and supervise nursery staff, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training to ensure high-quality childcare delivery
• Develop and implement engaging programmes that promote early childhood education and development
• Oversee daily operations, including enrolment procedures, health and safety compliance, and maintaining a clean, safe environment
• Build strong relationships with parents, addressing concerns and providing regular updates on their children’s progress
• Manage administrative tasks such as staffing rotas, budgeting, and record keeping
• Ensure all activities adhere to relevant regulations and standards for childcare provision
• Organise staff meetings and professional development sessions to foster a cohesive team environment
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided

Qualifications

• Proven management experience within a nursery or early childhood education setting
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Working knowledge of childcare regulations and health & safety standards in the UK
• Experience working directly with children in a childcare or nursery environment
• Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Childcare) or higher
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
• Valid driving licence is desirable for operational flexibility
