Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Online Tutors to provide personalised educational support across a wide range of subjects and levels. This role offers flexible scheduling, allowing tutors to work from the comfort of their own home while helping students achieve their academic goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for teaching, and experience working with diverse learners, including children and students requiring special education support. All tutoring sessions are conducted remotely, making this an excellent opportunity for those seeking flexible, paid employment in education.

Duties

• Deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs across various subjects and academic levels.
• Prepare customised lesson plans and learning materials to facilitate understanding and retention of subject matter.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate students with special educational needs or learning difficulties.
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, attendance, and student progress.
• Communicate effectively with students and parents (where applicable) to discuss goals, challenges, and achievements.
• Stay updated on curriculum changes and best practices in online education.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching across various subjects; specialised experience in working with children or students with special educational needs is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple students and sessions efficiently.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and engage learners of all ages and backgrounds.
• Reliable internet connection, computer or tablet with webcam, microphone, and suitable software for online teaching.
• A passion for education and a commitment to supporting student success.
