Night Health Care Assistant job at Dagenham Full Time

Job Purpose

• To promote and maintain a high standard of care to all residents
• To assist in identifying and addressing needs of the residents
• Assist in the personal care and grooming of residents
• To undertake/support daily activities with the residents
• To keep the resident’s care plans updated, using Nourish Software.
• To liaise with your key residents family members/representative.

Person Specification

• Must possess good level of literacy Skills
• Must possess N.V.Q. in care level 2 or the Care Certificate
• Self and team motivated
• Flexible
• Good communicator
• Active team player but also able to work on own initiative

Key Responsibilities

• To promote a high standard of direct care to the residents based on their assessed need
• To undertake an holistic approach when providing care to the residents.
• To ensure daily records are made in the resident’s individual files by using the Nourish App.
• Keeping care plans are up to date and record information accurately.
• To maintain good communication with your line manager/s regarding a residents health and wellbeing.

• The home aims to maintain the good will and confidence of its own staff, residents, relatives and visitors. To assist this, it is essential always for all employees to perform their duties in a courteous and emphatic manner

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.40-£15.40 per hour
