Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Night Delivery Driver to join our team as a self-employed member of the team. This role involves ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods during night shifts, primarily within urban and suburban areas. The ideal candidate will be fine with night shifts, be hard- working and have their own car. NO EXPERIENCE is necessary. We accept those of all ages.
Requirements
- Have a full UK driving licence.
- Working requirements in the UK.
- Have your own vehicle which is fully insured. Small cars, larger cars and vans are all acceptable.
- Must be available to work across 7 days a week.
- Must be willing to be able and willing to work at least 3 hours from the time 12am to 7am across all 7 days of a week.
- Must have full availability at night hours from Monday to Sunday
Duties
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations and safety standards
- Load and unload items into vehicle before shifts begin.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery times and resolve any issues that may arise during transit
- Delivery correct items to correct households.
- Answer for any mistakes by returning households if items are mismanaged.
Skills
- Valid UK driver licence with a clean driving record
- Strong organisational skills to plan routes efficiently and manage multiple deliveries
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with team members, clients, and dispatchers
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism
