Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant driver with their own car to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals ( males and females) in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role is crucial in assisting clients with daily activities while promoting their independence and dignity.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as required, following care plans.
• Maintain accurate records of client care and communicate any changes to the care team.
• Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed.
• Engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in care setting is preferred but not essential.
• Communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to drive is advantageous for transporting clients when necessary.
• Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining client records is a plus.
• A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others is essential.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as required by client needs.
