Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Multidrop Delivery Driver to join our team in Perth. This role involves early morning starts at 3am, ensuring timely delivery of goods across designated routes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, excellent communication skills, and the physical capability for heavy lifting. This is a paid position suitable for individuals with previous delivery experience. Shifts 5 over 7 days.
Duties
- Conduct daily pre-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, including lorries and vans, along specified routes.
- Load and unload goods, often involving heavy lifting, ensuring items are secure during transit.
- Deliver products to multiple customer locations efficiently and punctually.
- Maintain accurate delivery standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times or issues.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within logistics or warehouse environments.
- Valid UK driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience with commercial driving vehicles such as lorries or vans.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Organised with excellent time management skills to meet tight schedules.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dedicated team delivering essential goods across Stirlingshire and Perthshire . Applicants must be punctual, dependable, and prepared for early morning starts to ensure smooth operations throughout the day.
Pay: £14.00 per hour
