Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Duties

• Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, to deliver goods to designated destinations
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to optimise time and fuel consumption
• Load and unload items.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon receipt
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery statuses or delays
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within logistics or warehousing environments
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
• Experience with commercial driving vehicles such as vans or lorries
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when loading or unloading goods
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and delivery procedures
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of heavy lifting and prolonged periods of driving or standing

Pay: £200.00-£250.00 per day
