Job Summary
We are seeking a multi-skilled operative with strong expertise in block paving and kerb laying, with a particular emphasis on block paving projects. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in paving and general groundwork. A machine license is preferred, allowing the safe operation of plant machinery on site. This role requires a reliable, self-motivated individual capable of working both independently and as part of a team, delivering high-quality workmanship on every project.

Duties

• Successfully pass a drug test as part of the induction process.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure high-quality finishes.
• Lay block paving and kerbs to a precise, neat, and tidy standard.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, clearing up after yourself.
• Safeguard and properly look after all tools and equipment.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on any plant or machinery used.
• Follow all health and safety regulations on site.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors on site.
• Adhere to project timelines and deadlines.

Skills

• Proficient in block paving techniques and installation.
• Strong general groundwork knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
• Skilled in kerb laying with attention to detail.
• Familiar with operating plant machinery (preferably with a valid machine license).
• Good problem-solving and adaptability on site.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Pay: £190.00-£200.00 per day
