About the Role
We’re a busy construction company looking to engage a reliable, hands-on Multi-Skilled Operative on a self-employed basis to tackle a wide variety of jobs across our projects. This is a varied role ideal for a practical problem-solver who can turn their hand to almost anything on site from heavy graft to fine finishing.
Key Responsibilities
- Exterior works, general repairs and ongoing maintenance
- Roof tile replacement and minor roofing repairs
- Guttering installation, cleaning, and repairs
- Fascia and soffit repairs and replacement
- Brickwork repairs and repointing
- Demolition, strip-outs and rip-outs
- Labouring duties (loading, mixing, site clearance, material handling)
- Snagging and remedial works to bring jobs to completion
- Finishing touches and trim work to a high standard
- General site support across multiple trades as required
What We’re Looking For
- Proven hands-on experience across multiple trades in construction
- A genuine “jack of all trades” mentality — confident switching between tasks
- Strong work ethic, able to work independently and as part of a team
- CSCS card (or equivalent) preferred
- Own reliable transport and basic hand/power tools
- Valid UTR number and public liability insurance (self-employed status)
- Punctual, reliable, and takes pride in their workmanship
