About the job:
The holder of this post is responsible for undertaking Depot protection duties as required. You will adhere to depot protection, safety, quality and environmental procedures, rules and regulations in force.

About the location:
Clapham Depot is an extremely busy location situated in the middle of Clapham Junction Station that provides a service 24/7. Clapham, due to its location, sees all the rolling stock that SWR run on a daily basis. We have a large and diverse team who undertake various roles to ensure that we meet our customer service levels and expectations in train reliability, safety, performance and train cleanliness.
Clapham is an excellent location to learn and understand different aspects of the Railway and is a fantastic starting point for people wanting to learn about the operational side of the Rail industry. It could also be suited to those seeking a new and more demanding challenge. Some of roles include; shunting, panel operators, depot driving, response technicians, train cleaners and permanent way.
Working pattern:
You will work an average of 37 hours per week across 4 days, including early, late, night and weekend shifts.
Shifts include:
07:00 – 17:00 12:30 – 22:30 21:00 – 07:00
