We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to support the effective delivery of safeguarding services within our MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub). This pivotal role involves managing the main service phone line, ensuring queries are handled professionally, sensitively, and in a timely manner. You will be responsible for accurately recording information and ensuring all administrative processes align with safeguarding procedures and data protection standards.
As a key point of contact within the MASH, you will regularly liaise with a wide range of internal teams and external partners, including health services, education providers, police, and other safeguarding agencies. A significant part of the role involves coordinating and processing information, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and confidence in handling sensitive information. Previous administrative experience within a social care or safeguarding environment is desirable, alongside strong IT skills and attention to detail. Above all, you will bring a professional, calm, and empathetic approach, contributing to a service that places the safety and wellbeing of children and families at its core.
We work on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of 3 days per week based in the office.
If you’re looking for a new challenge and want to be part of an exciting journey to turn children’s services around in Slough, then come and join us. In return, we can offer you:
