Your new role
You will report directly to the Finance Manager, playing a key role in delivering timely and accurate monthly management accounts within a dynamic finance team.Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including journal postings
• Delivering variance analysis against KPIs, budgets, and forecasts
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations with supporting evidence
• Acting as a business partner to various departments across the organisation
• Supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Assisting with the year-end audit and statutory accounts
• Delivering insightful financial analysis to support decision-making
• Supporting process improvements and system enhancements

What you’ll need to succeed
You will be recently qualified (ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA) with multi-site experience, ideally from Retail. You will have 2-3 years’ management accounting experience with strong excel skills, including the ability to use pivot tables, lookups, and manipulate large data sets to produce meaningful financial insights. You will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Strong communication skills are essential, with the confidence to partner effectively with stakeholders at all levels across the business. A proactive, driven mindset and a genuine desire to learn, develop, and take ownership of your work will be key to your success in this role.
