Job Summary
We are seeking an experience, reliable and dedicated Luton Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining a high standard of service. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as part of daily operations. We pay £12.75 Monday to Friday and £13.75 on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive a van to transport goods to designated locations, ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations.
• Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the van is in good working condition.
• Load and unload goods, using tailift and pump truck, while adhering to proper lifting techniques.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with a valid driving licence suitable for vans.
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Ability to drive safely and efficiently under various conditions.
• Capability to drive across the UK motorways.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver is desirable but not essential.
