We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our Birmingham team. This is an exciting opportunity for an organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about logistics, coordination, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics operations, shipments, and delivery schedules
- Communicate with suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations
- Track shipments and resolve delivery or transportation issues promptly
- Maintain accurate logistics records, reports, and inventory documentation
- Monitor supply chain performance and support process improvements
- Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and operational reports
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and logistics regulations
- Support warehouse and operations teams with administrative coordination tasks
Requirements
- Previous experience in logistics, supply chain coordination, or operations support preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management systems
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of UK logistics and transportation processes is an advantage
