Role Description
Lingua Learn is currently seeking a Part-Time Latvian Teacher to deliver online lessons.
Students will include both adults and children, with proficiency levels ranging from complete beginners to advanced (CEFR A1 to C1). As some lessons may be conducted in English, candidates must possess a good standard of English (minimum B1 level).
Applicants should hold a degree along with a recognised teaching qualification, and have at least five years’ experience in language instruction. In addition, candidates should be confident in evaluating learners across all four core language skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking), ideally with reference to CEFR standards.
Key Requirements:
- Latvian speaker
- Good command of English (minimum B1 level)
- Recognised teaching qualification
- Degree-level education
- Minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience
- Experience teaching both children and adults
- Competent in using online teaching platforms (particularly Zoom)
- Ability to assess learners across all four language skills
- Stable and reliable internet connection
