We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaper and Gardener to join our team on a part-time basis (minimum 12 hours per week). This role involves maintaining and enhancing gardens for our valued clients, ensuring their gardens are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Responsibilities

• Landscape Maintenance: Perform routine care including mowing, pruning, planting, weeding, and fertilizing to ensure healthy growth and premium visual appeal.
• Customer Relations: Serve as a friendly and professional face of the company, communicating effectively with our loyal customers to understand their needs and ensure total satisfaction.
• Tool Operation: Safely and efficiently operate hand tools (spades, shears, rakes) and power tools (hedge trimmers, lawn mowers, blowers, edgers).
• Hardscaping Assistance: Assist with minor construction activities related to garden features such as patios, pathways, or retaining walls.
• Site Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, respecting client property at all times.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 6 to 12 months of proven experience in landscaping, maintenance, gardening, or horticulture.
• Customer Service Skills: Strong communication skills with a polite, helpful, and professional demeanor when interacting with clients.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic mechanical understanding of power tools.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform strenuous outdoor labor in various weather conditions.
• Teamwork & Autonomy: Ability to work reliably on your own initiative or collaborate seamlessly as part of a team.
• Horticultural Knowledge: Understanding of plant care, soil management, and garden design principles is preferred but not essential.
• Qualifications: Relevant certifications in horticulture or landscaping are a plus, but not required.

Job Details

• Position Type: Part-Time (Minimum 12 hours per week).
• Future Outlook: While this is initially a part-time position, there is a opportunity for the role to progress into a full-time, permanent position based on performance, reliability, and business demand.
