Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Labourer/Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently whilst assisting with warehouse tasks.The position involves driving company vehicles, performing heavy lifting, spray painting, grinding and supporting warehouse activities, ensuring smooth logistical processes.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company delivery vehicles, including vans and lorries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Deliver goods to various locations in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with loading and unloading items, including heavy lifting and manual handling
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
• spray painting gates railings and fencing.
• Support warehouse operations by organising stock, preparing orders, and maintaining a clean work environment
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times during driving and manual handling tasks

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within logistics or warehouse environments
• Valid UK driving licence, preferably with a clean licence and no driver disqualification.
• Experience in commercial driving with knowledge of road safety regulations
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently
• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for specific duties
