We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to assist with the smooth running of our kitchen operations on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, including washing vegetables and organising ingredients.
• Support the kitchen team with cleaning duties, including washing pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas to comply with health and safety regulations.
• Help in organising stock and supplies to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Support the team during service periods by ensuring all areas are hygienic and well-maintained.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to promote a safe working environment for all staff.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Familiarity with food preparation, cooking processes, or kitchen operations is desirable.
• Experience in serving or working within a culinary setting can be beneficial.
• A proactive attitude with a keen interest in hospitality and culinary arts is preferred.
