Full job description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team at Gracies. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen, assisting with basic food preparation, and ensuring that all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
Key Responsibilities:
– Washing and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
– Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, including floors, counters, and work surfaces.
– Assisting with basic food preparation as needed.
– Ensuring that all kitchen equipment is clean and in good working order.
– Following all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
– Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong attention to detail.
– Good physical stamina, as the role requires standing for extended periods and some heavy lifting.
– Full availability for the specified shift pattern (10:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday to Sunday on a rota pattern). This role requires working 4-5 days per week and is not suitable for students or those with limited availability.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
