Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Kitchen Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining kitchens, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and safety. The Kitchen Fitter will work on various projects, delivering quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install kitchen units, cabinets, worktops, and appliances with precision
• Fabricate bespoke components using hand tools and power tools to meet project specifications
• Fit and secure fixtures such as sinks, taps, and electrical appliances in accordance with safety standards
• Perform repairs or modifications to existing kitchen installations as required
• Collaborate with clients and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects
• Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout each project
• Conduct quality checks to ensure all installations meet company standards and client expectations
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during operations

Skills

• Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, and carpentry within the construction or renovation sector
• Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., saws, drills, screwdrivers) and power tools (e.g., routers, jigsaws)
• Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and masonry work related to kitchen fitting
• Ability to work with plumbing fixtures and electrical components safely and effectively
• Experience with roofing or construction painting is advantageous but not essential
• Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with installation work
• Good understanding of health & safety protocols relevant to building sites
• Excellent organisational skills with an eye for detail and precision
