Kitchen Assistant/ Trainee Pizza Chef, Proove Pizzeria
Who we are
Proove is a quality Neapolitan pizza brand, that started as a small independent and is looking to expand across the UK and reach new heights with our product. Our menu has expanded to include Neapolitan inspired street food, along with some original gluten free and vegan options. We’ve recently been crowned the Best Neapolitan Pizza Restaurant in the UK by the globally recognised LUXlife Hospitality Awards. .
What were looking for
A candidate who is willing to get stuck in and learn. No previous experience is necessary and recruitment for this role with be based on the individual’s values and work ethic. Full pizza chef training will be provided at our Broomhill Site with progression opportunities arising fast for those with the right values and attitude within the workplace. We love to progress internal applicants and watch them grow and develop as they rise through the ranks. Even our senior Pizzaiolos started as Kitchen Porters!
Responsibilities
The role will involve prepping high quality products whilst ensuring the kitchen is always maintained to a high hygiene standard. During service all members of the team work together under the direction of one of our senior pizza chefs to make sure that our product is made fresh, to the highest standard possible. Organisational and personal development skills are essential for this role.

Pay rate is made up of basic pay and tronc pay outlined below.
The basic pay rate is £12.71 In addition to your pay, you will receive a weekly tip rate of 50-80p per hour through our Tronc system.
