IT Support Technician

Full-time – Permanent
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 depending on experience
Location: Musselburgh, office based

This is not a remote or relocation-supported role. Only candidates currently living within commuting distance of Musselburgh will be considered.

Introduction

Image Logistics is looking to recruit an IT Support Technician to join our support team based in Musselburgh.

This is a varied first-line support role providing assistance to both clients and internal staff across a broad range of IT systems and services. You will regularly be the first point of contact for support requests, so strong communication skills and a friendly, professional manner are essential.

We are looking for someone dependable, approachable and technically minded who enjoys solving problems and delivering a high standard of support.

The Role

Working alongside our existing support and infrastructure team, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing first-line IT support to clients and colleagues
• Assisting users with day-to-day hardware and software issues
• Troubleshooting PCs, printers and general office IT equipment
• Supporting Microsoft Office 365 and other business applications
• Assisting with user accounts, connectivity and basic networking issues
• Supporting a range of online services including hosting, domains and email systems
• Logging, managing and following up support requests
• Occasionally visiting client premises to assist with on-site support

The role offers exposure to a wide range of systems and technologies within a busy working environment.

Experience with networking, hosting, DNS, servers or online services would be beneficial, although training will be provided for many of the systems we use.

The Position

• Full-time, permanent role
• Fully office-based in Musselburgh, East Lothian
• 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Core office hours around 9:00am – 5:00pm
• 28 days paid annual leave including customary festive holidays

A full UK driving licence is required as occasional travel to client sites may be necessary.

Requirements

• IT support or customer service experience preferred
• Full UK driving licence required
• Right to work in the United Kingdom required

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
