Role summary

Rent Guarantor is looking for a Junior IT operations team member to provide first-line technical support and triaging issues with internal tooling and workflows. The role will focus on resolving straightforward issues directly where possible, especially in HubSpot, and raising detailed Jira tickets to the engineering team when issues relate to the core Joomla-based web application.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first-line support.
• Triage incoming issues and identify the correct owner or next step.
• Resolve straightforward HubSpot-related issues where possible.
• Create clear, actionable Jira tickets for Joomla/web application issues.
• Carry out some UAT testing for releases and fixes.
• Provision Microsoft laptops for new starters.
• Support software license administration and access setup.
• Maintain accurate documentation of fixes, workflows, and operational procedures.
• Work closely with the IT Operations Lead to learn the tooling and processes in detail.

Key Skills & Experience

• IT / Computing qualification or at least 1 year of experience in IT support, operations, service desk, or a similar role.
• Comfortable learning internal processes and tools in detail.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to triage.
• Good communication skills and the confidence to work with non-technical colleagues.
• Flexible, curious, and happy to take ownership of routine operational tasks.
• Some familiarity with ticketing systems, HubSpot, or web application support would be useful, but is not essential.
• Familiarity with Microsoft device setup and software licensing.

Nice to have

• Experience with HubSpot administration or support.
• Exposure to UAT, release testing, or internal systems support.
• Basic understanding of web applications, SaaS tools, and user provisioning.

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
