About Climate X
Climate X is the world’s leading climate risk analytics platform, helping banks, insurers, asset managers and real estate firms turn physical climate risk into financial insight — and into revenue. Our products are used by global financial institutions managing trillions of dollars in assets, including Legal & General, Federated Hermes, Triodos Bank, Virgin Money, the European Investment Bank, JLL, Deloitte, Bain & Company and Grosvenor.
We are a B Corp certified scale-up, backed by tier-one investors including Google Ventures, Salesforce Ventures and CommerzVentures. Headquartered in London with a US office in New York, we are now preparing for our Series B — and the systems, security and support that keep our team moving fast need an owner.
The Opportunity
As IT Manager, you will own Climate X’s device, identity and security estate end-to-end. You will manage our macOS fleet through Microsoft Intune, harden access with Conditional Access and compliance policies, administer Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID, and run a responsive support function through Zendesk — keeping the business secure, productive and audit-ready as we scale through Series B and beyond.
This is a hands-on, security-first role with real breadth. At a fast-moving scale-up trusted by global financial institutions, IT is not a back-office cost centre — it is what lets the company move quickly without compromising on security. You will be AI-first by default, automating everything that is ready to be automated, so support, provisioning and reporting run on systems rather than manual effort, and your time goes to judgement, security and improvement.
You will report to the Director of Finance & Operations, partner closely with the People and Security functions, and be the go-to owner of how Climate X equips, secures and supports its people.
