IT Apprentice

We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Apprentice to join our experienced and supportive IT team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy professional environment while working towards a recognised IT qualification.
You’ll be supported by knowledgeable IT professionals who are passionate about developing talent and helping you grow your skills and confidence.

The Role
As an IT Apprentice, you will learn how to support the technology that helps our business run smoothly. Working alongside our experienced IT team, you’ll gain practical, hands-on experience while developing valuable skills for a future career in IT.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Helping colleagues with basic IT issues and queries.
- Setting up computers, laptops, and other equipment for staff.
- Assisting with software installations and updates.
- Learning how to diagnose and resolve common IT problems.
- Keeping records of IT equipment and support requests up to date.
- Supporting the IT team with day-to-day tasks and projects.
- Learning about cybersecurity and how to keep systems secure.
- Working with colleagues and external suppliers to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
Full training and support will be provided throughout your apprenticeship.
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need previous IT work experience to apply. We’re looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology and a willingness to learn.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Enthusiastic and eager to develop new skills.
- Interested in technology and how it works.
- Friendly and helpful when working with colleagues.
- A good communicator with a positive attitude.
- Reliable, organised, and willing to take responsibility.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence holder with access to transport, as travel between our offices will be required.
Skills and Interests That Would Be Beneficial
While not essential, it would be helpful if you:
- Enjoy using computers and technology.
- Have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
- Have an interest in IT, gaming, technology, or problem-solving.
- Enjoy learning new systems and software.
- Are curious about how technology supports businesses.
