Join Brent Council’s dynamic finance team as an Income Project Assistant. Day-to-day of the role:

• Support the delivery of income-related projects across the council.
• Assist in monitoring and analysing income streams to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Maintain and update financial records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise with internal departments to gather information and resolve income queries.
• Provide administrative and project support to the wider finance team.
• Assist in producing reports and performance data for stakeholders.
• Support process improvements to enhance income collection and reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a finance, income, or project support role within a local authority or similar environment.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Experience working with financial systems is desirable.
