Removals Driver (3.5 Ton)

J.A. Steel and Son Removals is a family-run removals company established in 1899. We provide professional household and office removals and pride ourselves on excellent customer service.
We are looking for a 3.5 ton removals driver to join our team. The role involves driving, packing, loading and unloading furniture, and assisting customers during moves.
This is a varied role. At least 50% of your time will be based at our depot, where you will help keep the warehouse clean and organised, meet and assist customers, and support daily operations. The rest of your time will be spent working on removals jobs and covering driving duties when required.
Pay and hours:
- £15.00 per hour (£30,000–£35,000 per year)
- Minimum 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, some weekend work required
- 6:00am start times
Requirements:
- Experience in removals or similar work preferred
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 points)
- Minimum age 25 (insurance requirement)
- Physically fit and able to carry furniture
- Reliable and customer-focused
- Must live locally
