Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant / Support Worker / Senior Care Person to join our compassionate team. Duties

• Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
• Support individuals with their care plans, ensuring personalised needs are met effectively
• Supervise and mentor junior staff or support workers, fostering a positive team environment
• Administer medication as per prescribed guidelines and document accordingly
• Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and care documentation tools
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
• Drive residents or staff when necessary, adhering to road safety regulations and company policies
• Organise activities that promote social engagement and mental wellbeing for residents
• Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the care environment in compliance with health and safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience working within a care home or senior care environment
• Supervising or leadership experience in a healthcare setting is desirable
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
• Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately and sensitively
• Competence in using IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes
• Valid driving licence and ability to drive if required for the role
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable individuals
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Pay: £29,000.00-£34,528.25 per year
