Health Care Assistant (Domiciliary Care)
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Health Care Assistant to provide person-centred care to individuals in their own homes. This role supports clients to live independently while maintaining their dignity, comfort, and wellbeing. Full training is provided, making it suitable for both experienced carers and those new to care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with mobility and safe transfers
- Help with meal preparation and feeding where required
- Follow individual care plans
- Monitor and report any changes in health or wellbeing
- Assist with medication in line with training and guidelines
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Travel between clients’ homes
Requirements
- Good communication skills in English
- Caring, patient, and reliable nature
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic IT skills for recording care notes
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle desirable
- No experience required – full training provided
