About us:

FastHeal Pharmacy and Clinic is a local community pharmacy located in Bagshot Village.

Role: Healthcare Counter Assistant / Trainee
Type: Permanent Part time / Full time

Job Description

The main role is to work well with the pharmacy team and pharmacist to provide excellent customer service, assist patients with healthcare needs, and help support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy efficiently and professionally.

We are looking for a regular Saturday staff member, as well as some days during the week too, to be set by the manager.

Experience is preferred but if not training and courses will be provided by us, helping to build your career and future in the pharmacy industry!

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

Serve customers and assist with patient queries in a professional and friendly manner
Provide advice on over-the-counter medicines and healthcare products under pharmacist supervision
Support the pharmacy team with day-to-day pharmacy operations
Carry out services such as blood pressure checks and other pharmacy services when trained
Answer telephone queries appropriately to customer needs, politely and efficiently
Help maintain stock levels and ensure shelves are organised and well stocked
Promote pharmacy services and healthcare campaigns where appropriate
Ensure the pharmacy is kept clean, organised, and welcoming for patients Flexibility to cover other staff on holidays
Any other tasks detailed by the manager or pharmacist

Essential Criteria

Great communication skills
Confidence with speaking to patients in a professional manner
Excellent customer service skills
Willingness to learn and work as part of a team

Desirable Criteria

Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred but not required, training will be provided on site if needed.
