Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to fill a Part-Time position in our busy team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in two locations, Gants Hill Medical Centre and Redbridge Surgery Branch. MUST have previous HCA experience in a GP Surgery. Must be available Wed, Thurs & Friday afternoons.
Duties will include but not limited to;
- Foot Checks
- BP Checks
- B12 Injections
- NHS Health Checks
- Requesting Urine ACR
- Diabetes 8 Care processes
Requirements
- Previous experience in a HCA role essential
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
- Familiarity with EMIS IT system for maintaining patient records is crucial
- A caring attitude towards patients, demonstrating empathy and respect at all times
- Flexibility to work in multiple locations, as required by the needs of the service
Hours will range from 16hrs p/week to 24hrs p/week
Rate of pay will depend on experience, starting from £12.71 p/hour
