Head of Education – Little Years Acomb
At Little Years Nurseries, we are proud to be a place where childhood belongs. Where children feel safe, valued, and able to truly create, learn and grow. Rooted in our core values of Family, Excellence and Development, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Head of Education to join our Acomb nursery.
Working closely alongside the Head of Nursery, this role is central to driving high-quality practice across the setting. You will lead on embedding our pedagogical approach, ensuring our curriculum is consistently understood, thoughtfully implemented, and reflected in meaningful assessment.
As Head of Education, you will spend time within the rooms, working alongside teams to model outstanding practice, complete observations, and coach staff in the moment. You will support practitioners to understand not just what they are doing, but why — strengthening confidence in curriculum intent, implementation and impact.
You will play a key role in creating a culture of development, where reflective practice is valued and teams feel supported to grow. Through strong relationships and a shared sense of family, you will nurture a consistent approach across the nursery, ensuring every child receives high-quality, inclusive care and education.
This role is about striving for excellence — not through perfection, but through continuous improvement, collaboration, and a deep commitment to giving every child the very best start
