Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Groundsman/Estate Keeper to maintain and enhance the beauty and functionality of our estate grounds. This role involves a variety of outdoor maintenance tasks, ensuring the landscape remains pristine, safe, and well-kept. The successful candidate will possess a passion for garden/ground maintenance, with practical experience in using various tools and machinery. Responsibilities
- Maintain gardens, lawns, flower beds, and shrubbery by trimming, weeding, watering, and fertilising
- Perform general estate upkeep tasks such as repairing fencing, pathways, and garden structures
- Assist with construction or renovation projects on the estate grounds as required
- Use hand tools for planting, digging, and other horticultural activities
- Assist with refuse collections and post
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or repair
Skills
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or gardening
- Mechanical knowledge related to garden machinery and power tools
- Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Organised with good attention to detail to ensure high standards of estate upkeep
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £17.50 per hour
