The Role
This is a hands-on governance support role working closely with committees and internal stakeholders:
• Supporting the administration of multiple committees and board-level meetings
• Preparing and coordinating meeting materials and documentation
• Managing communications with committee members and stakeholders
• Assisting with governance processes and best practice standards
Main Duties
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of committee operations:
• Taking accurate minutes and producing high-quality meeting packs
• Coordinating diary management, calendar invites, and meeting logistics
• Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders, including council members
• Monitoring inboxes, tracking responses, and chasing actions
• Maintaining templates and ensuring governance documentation is up to standard
The Successful Candidate
• Proven governance or administrative experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Confident liaising with senior stakeholders and committee members
