Join Our Brand New Specialist Glass Business
We are looking for a Glass & Glazing Sales & Administration Assistant to join our growing team based in Garforth.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a specialist glass and glazing company at an exciting stage of development. The business it is built upon many years of industry experience delivering high-quality glass, glazing and specialist architectural products throughout the UK.
We are looking for somebody who enjoys working with people, takes pride in being organised, and likes the satisfaction of helping projects move smoothly from enquiry through to completion.
No two days are quite the same, and you will play a key role in supporting both customers and the wider team.
The Role
Your responsibilities may include:
- Answering incoming telephone and email enquiries
- Preparing and issuing quotations
- Following up quotations and sales enquiries
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and contractors
- Ordering materials and coordinating deliveries
- Assisting with project and accounts administration
- Scheduling surveys, deliveries and installations
- Updating customer records and project information
- Supporting marketing and business development activities
- General office administration duties
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will be:
- Friendly, professional and confident when speaking with customers
- Well organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable using computers and office software
- Able to work independently and use their own initiative
- Reliable, proactive and willing to learn
Experience within the glass and glazing industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
We would also welcome applications from candidates with experience in:
- Construction administration
- Internal sales
- Customer service
- Windows and doors
- Building products
- Manufacturing administration
- Project coordination
