We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting various operational tasks across our site, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
- Support the organisation and tidiness of work areas to promote safety and efficiency
- Carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting, moving, and positioning materials or equipment
- Prepare sites for upcoming work by clearing debris or obstacles
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to minimise risks
- Support skilled tradespeople with their tasks as required
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and report any faults or damages
Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour over extended periods
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or similar roles is advantageous but not essential
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices on site
