We are currently seeking a Delivery Driver to join our large Garden Centre Group. The successful candidate will be expected to complete home deliveries so should be physically fit as this is a very hand on role and you will need to handle large and heavy loads.

Experience in retail is essential to the role as is good customer service.

Over 25 Full clean driving license essential, with the ability to drive long wheelbase vehicles.

The successful candidate will:

· Hold a full, clean driving licence.

· Be comfortable driving large vehicles.

· Be experienced in a retail environment.

· Have a friendly and positive attitude, providing a great customer experience at point of delivery.

· Be flexible as some weekend working will be required.

· Have good organisational skills.

Duties will include:

· Loading of customer orders on the van in a safe and timely manner ensuring products are wrapped and secured efficiently.

· Planning of routes beforehand.

· Stock/fixture transfers between stores when required.

· Maintenance and due diligence check of delivery van.

· Other duties as required around the Centre.
