As a Support Worker, you will provide support to service users to ensure their safety, health and wellbeing. Duties will include support with day-to-day aspects such as shopping, meals, personal care, and attending appointments, as well as with leisure, social and physical activities, hobbies and personal interests with an emphasis on helping develop skills, confidence and relationships.

Person specification
· Flexible and able to carry out a variety of shifts throughout the week, including evenings and weekends
· Willing and able to offer physical support to service users, including moving and handling safely
· Understanding of and sensitivity to the discrimination experienced by members of vulnerable and/or minority groups
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Able to manage time and workload effectively
· Able to work on own initiative, proactively resolving issues
· Able to maintain professional boundaries and handle confidential information appropriately
· Committed to enabling choice, independence, and wellbeing of people with learning disabilities and/or Autism
· Ability to engage people with learning disabilities in challenging, stimulating and enjoyable activities
