Overview:
Connections in Mind is a remote-based pioneering community interest company (CIC), that offers blended learning training programmes and coaching to professionals, schools, and individuals, as well as themed live online events in the field of executive functioning. We work with a community of psychologists, executive function coaches, teachers and teacher assistants, school management, students, and parents.
Our coaching programmes, webinars and courses are delivered by professionals with backgrounds in psychology, education and coaching, and we pride ourselves on offering a bespoke support service to our clients.
We are a small, open-minded company, working to support neurodivergent (e.g. ADD, ADHD, ASD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia, etc.) individuals.
We have recently launched a new addition to our service offering and now provide personal assistants/admin support for our community. Our personal assistants work with our clients to provide administrative assistance in the clients daily job roles or personal lives.
The role:
This is not your average administrative role. We are looking for experienced professionals with virtual assistant, PA and/or admin experience (admin experience can be within any field, e.g, accountancy, marketing, health care, etc.), willing to work in person and/or remotely with our clients. Our client needs and demands vary, so you will need to be flexible and possess an array of skills, such as diary management, bookkeeping, social media experience etc. We are looking for a variety of people who are willing to potentially work with a few clients, working up to 10 hrs per week per client and are passionate about supporting people who identify as being neurodivergent.
This freelance role is responsible for supporting clients within their job role, including people who are self employed, and therefore the nature of the tasks will depend on the client. Please note that some tasks will be to support the client with the task, not necessarily to complete it yourself.
Responsibilities:
Tasks can include (but are not limited to):
Who are you?
We imagine you are an experienced professional (especially within the field of admin) with the ability to form relationships quickly. You will be a good problem solver, with a growth mindset, and love supporting people. You are empathetic and passionate about the work we do. You are adept at working with technology to help you work more efficiently and support your clients. You are self-motivated and get excited about collaborating with a small but passionate team who, together, strives to make the world a better place. You are process-orientated, have meticulous attention to detail and enjoy identifying and solving problems.
Required:
Working hours:
As a freelancer, your working hours and number of hours will vary depending on the client, but will usually be between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. You will typically work with 2-3 clients at a time, with the average client wanting up to 10 hours of support per week.
Rates:
Rates for this role are fixed at £17 per hour. Rates are billable monthly at the end of the month for payment at the end of the following month. Admin/Pa’s may have the opportunity to advance to higher rates and responsibility depending on their performance and tenure with Connections in Mind. As a rapidly growing organisation, we offer excellent opportunities for progression and personal development.
