Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Football Coach to join our summer school programme at an International Language School. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing players’ skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive sporting environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young athletes and contribute to their personal and athletic development through organised training sessions and competitive matches.

Duties

• Plan and deliver training sessions developed by PSG Academy, tailored to different age groups and skill levels
• Develop customised coaching programmes to improve technical skills, tactical understanding, and physical fitness
• Motivate players to achieve their personal best while emphasising sportsmanship and teamwork
• Organise and oversee team practices, matches, and tournaments in accordance with league regulations
• Monitor player progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain detailed records of development
• Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to health and safety guidelines during training and matches
• Foster a positive environment that encourages discipline, respect, and enjoyment of the game
• Collaborate with School staff, or organisation officials to support player welfare and programme objectives

Experience

• Proven experience in sports coaching, preferably within football or similar team sports
• Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate effectively with players of varied ages and abilities
• Knowledge of current coaching techniques, rules of football, and player development strategies
• Previous experience organising training sessions, matches, or tournaments is desirable
• A recognised coaching qualification or relevant sports coaching certification is advantageous but not essential for entry-level candidates

Pay: £17.50-£25.00 per hour
