Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic foodie to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing exceptional service. This role involves preparing fresh food from our varied menu, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Using fresh, local ingredients to produce meals that wow our customers is at the heart of what we do.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food and Beverage Preparation:
• Ensure all food preparation and presentation adheres to our quality guidelines.
• Maintain strict adherence to food hygiene and safety regulations, including HACCP principles.
• Prepare and present menu items in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure that all food safety regulations are strictly followed, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
• Serve food to customers, providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals.
• Maintain inventory levels of food supplies, reporting any shortages or issues to management.
• Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of products and food safety practices.
• Team Contribution:
• Work collaboratively and effectively within the team.
• Maintain clear and professional communication.
• Provide assistance to other team members as needed.

Person Specification:

• Essential:

• Previous restaurant experience is advantageous, particularly in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
• Culinary experience is a plus, showcasing creativity in food presentation and flavour combinations.

Working Pattern:

• Daytime working hours, Tues – Sat (Sun & Mon off), limited evenings on occasion. Typical core hours working 9am-5pm. Full Time, 5 days per week. Job-share considered.
• Requirement to stand for extended periods.
